In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Home Office and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) have put temporary arrangements in place, to provide DBS checks and fast-track emergency checks of the Adults’ and Children’s Barred Lists free-of-charge.
To support this, Disclosure Services has agreed to waive our Admin Fee for the first 1000 applications submitted by healthcare and social care workers that are being recruited in connection with the provision of care and treatment of coronavirus in England and Wales.
We anticipate that from Monday, 20th April 2020 we will have exceeded 1000 applications for critical workers so therefore all further applications will be subject to our normal Admin Fee.
This will include any applications that have been submitted after the close of business on Friday, 17th April 2020.
